What's My Plan?

For the last 4 months of 2024, I had put in all the necessary work to prepare and acquire the Spain Working Holiday Visa for myself!

I had booked my overnight flights from Calgary, Canada to Barcelona, Spain for January 30, 2025! After a 9 hour flight to Paris, a 2.5 hour layover, and another 1.5 hour flight. On January 31 I arrived in Barcelona! And on July 16, 2025 I returned home to Canada!

For 6 months, I took Spanish classes to improve my Spanish, explored the city, took side trips to explore Spain and Europe, found a job in Barcelona, and found a club to play beach handball with here!

Along the way I made many friends and truly curated a deep love for the city and the people!
